CRIME BLOTTER May 22nd to June 6th
May 22nd 2023 at approximately 830 pm officers responded to the 1200 block of Whaland Road for a report of a physical fight between brothers. Upon arrival both brothers reported there was no physical altercation and one of the brothers was leaving. No further police involvement.
May 22nd 2023 at approximately 1200 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the area of the East Rockhill Township building for a report of a wanted subject. Upon arrival Pennridge Regional officers located a male who was wanted by Bucks County Prison for walking away from the work release program. The male was transported back to Bucks County Prison.
May 22nd 2023 Pennridge Regional Police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Ridge Valley Road for a report of a neighbor being armed with a rifle. Officers arrived on scene and found that one neighbor was walking along the wood line with a BB gun that looked like a rifle. Officers were able to determine nothing of a criminal nature had taken place and both neighbors were sent on their way.
May 23rd 2023 at approximately 700 am officers responded to the 200 block of Cathill Road for a report of several catalytic converters removed from vehicles at the business. Upon arrival it was found that three of the trucks had their catalytic converters removed at an overnight. The theft was believed to be over $1500 in parts.
May 23rd 2023 at approximately 200 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the Pennridge High School, East Rockhill, for a report of a student in possession of a vape smoking device. A juvenile allegation was filed.
May 24th 2023 Pennridge Regional officers responded to the 600 block of Roseann Road for a report of female being harassed via social media. The officers found the harassment stemmed from an earlier criminal investigation and that the social media page was deleted and was closed by the victim.
May 24th 2023 at approximately 815 pm Pennridge Regional Officers responded to the Pennridge High School for a report of a theft of Apple Air pods. The air pods were estimated to cost $200. After a brief investigation by Regional officers and School District police the air pods were returned to the owner with no charges filed.
May 25th 2023 Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Roseann Lane for a report of news reporters trespassing on a property. Officers responded and found there to be no problem, as the reporters left when requested to do so.
May 25th 2023 at 1020 am Pennridge Regional officers responded to the 3100 block of Quarry Road for criminal mischief to property. Upon arrival the officer found a hole cut in the fencing surrounding the lot. The estimated cost of the damages was between $100 to $200.
May 25th 2023 Pennridge Regional Police were advised of resident whose credit card account was used fraudulently in Chicago. No further information was available and the incidents were being investigated by the credit card company.
May 26th 2023 at approximately 6pm officers responded to the area of the Naceville Quarry on Ridge Road for a report of Road Rage. Upon arrival it was found that two motorists were arguing following on motorist pulled out in front of another motorist. No further information was available and police cleared.
May 26th 2023 at approximately 1115 am Pennridge Regional Police responded to the Pennridge High School, East Rockhill, for a report of a student in possession of a THC vape smoking device. A juvenile allegation was filed.
May 26th 2023 at approximately 100 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the Pennridge North Middle School, East Rockhill, for a report of a student in possession of a THC vape smoking device. A juvenile allegation was filed.
May 27th 2023 at approximately 800pm officers responded to the 2100 block of Ridge Road for a report of a resident target shooting at his home without a proper back stop. The officer investigated and found that there was in fact an inadequate backstop and the homeowner was advised of the proper precautions to be made.
May 27th 2023 at approximately 730 pm Pennridge Regional officers investigated a complaint of a resident burning trash in the 2100 block of N. Rockhill Road. Upon investigation the fire had been extinguished earlier in the day and there was no evidence remaining of what was being burned.
May 29th 2023 at approximately 8 am the Pennridge Regional Police responded to the 500 blk of Campus Drive for a report of neighbors arguing over the installation of a fence. Both parties were referred to East Rockhill Township staff for guidance about installing a fence.
May 29th 2023 at approximately 930pm Pennridge Regional Officers responded to Bryant Drive and Campus Drive for a report of a homeowner setting off fireworks. This complaint was unfounded by officers who checked the area.
May 29th 2023 at approximately 1140 pm Pennridge Regional Police officers responded to the 2000 block of Ridge Road for report of a small brush fire, that was believed to be ignited by a firework. Police were assisted by Perkasie Fire Company.
May 30th 2023 at approximately 420 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to T&A Bindery for a report of another company using the business’s US DOT business to conduct business.
May 30th 2023 at approximately 4pm Pennridge Regional Police assisted the Bucks County SPCA with a search warrant in the 600 block of Roseann Lane. The SPCA removed several animals from the home due to the animals not being cared for properly. Incident is being investigated by the Bucks County SPCA.
May 30th 2023 at approximately 1015 pm Pennridge Regional Police responded to the 1300 block of Tunnel Road for a report of a verbal argument between family members. Officers investigated finding there to be no criminal offense committed, the family members were separated for the evening.
May 31st 2023 at approximately 0730 am officers responded to the 100 block of Detweiler Road for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. Two vehicles were damaged with a BB gun, overnight causing over $1200.00 in damages. No suspects are known at this time.
May 31st 2023 at approximately 930 pm officers responded to the 3200 block of Meetinghouse Road for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers found a male and female engaged in a verbal argument. Both parties agreed to separate for the evening without any further police involvement.
June 1st 2023 at approximately 100 pm officers responded to the 1100 block of Allentown Road for a report of a theft. The victim reported that a male operating a white pick-up truck removed his trash can from his property. The value of the trash can is believed to be $75.00 and the owner was referred to his trash company for replacement.
On June 1st 2023 officers at approximately 645 pm responded to the parking lot of Glenwood Shopping center for a report of male who was interacting with patrons. The male was making odd comments about curing cancer and that he was billionaire. Officers were unable to locate the male when they arrived.
