Ephrata Police recently charged Jeremy Michael Reed, 35, of Ephrata, with Driving Under the Influence (Refusal), and Duties at Stop Signs. On April 16, 2023, at 12:13 a.m., Ephrata Police were responding to another call when they observed a vehicle being driven by Reed fail to stop at a properly posted stop sign at the intersection of E. Chestnut St. and N. State St. in Ephrata Borough.  Ephrata Police stopped the vehicle and determined that Reed was under the influence.  Reed is presumed innocent.
