Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Camp Hill will be holding a Civil Service Police Officer Examination for the position of patrol officer on Saturday June, 17th 2023.
The 2023 starting salary for the position of patrol officer with The Camp Hill Police Department is $58.718.64. Camp Hill Police provides excellent benefits including health, dental, prescription, vision and life insurance. Camp Hill Police also offers a pension plan, paid vacation time, personal time, and sick leave. All equipment and uniforms will be provided by the Borough of Camp Hill.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION INCLUDE
- Age 21 before the deadline for the submitted completed application
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- ACT 120 Certified by the time of appointment (or be enrolled in ACT 120 at the time of exam)
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the essential duties of a police officer.
- Must be able to speak, read and write the English Language
- Be of good moral character.
In addition to the physical agility, written, and oral examinations candidates must also be able to successfully pass a thorough background investigation, psychological exam, medical exam, and drug screening.
Application packets are available for pick up Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM starting Monday May 22, 2023, at the Camp Hill Borough Police Department, 2199 Walnut Street Camp Hill, PA 17011. NOTE: Completed applications must be received by the Camp Hill Police Department at 2199 Walnut Street Camp Hill, PA 17011 NO LATER THAN FRIDAY JUNE 9TH, 2023.
