On May 6, 2023, the Quarryville Police Department (QPD) responded to the Good's Store, located at 333 W. 4th St. in Quarryville Borough, in reference to a Retail Theft that was not in-progress.

Upon arrival, officers learned that on May 5, 2023, at approximately 9:00 pm, an unidentified male and female team stole merchandise from the store.  The male had previously stolen merchandise from the store on May 4, 2023 and investigators were working to identify him from that incident.

Through investigation, the QPD was able to positively identify the perpetrators as Timothy Morgan of Conowingo, MD and Briana Mitchell of Port Deposit, MD.  Subsequently, Morgan and Mitchell were charged with one (1) count each of Retail Theft (M1), Criminal Attempt (M1) and Criminal Conspiracy (M1).  Said charges were filed before the Honorable Stuart J. Mylin of Magisterial District Court 02-3-04 in Quarryville, PA.
