At approximately 2:30 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022 the Quarryville Police Department (QPD) conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of N. Church St. in Quarryville Borough for a traffic offense.

During the stop, it was discovered that the owner/operator of the vehicle, Joseph L. Mackey III, was in possession of a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia

Mackey was subsequently charged with one (1) count of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana (M) and one (1) count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M).  Said charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Stuart J. Mylin of District Court 02-3-04 in Quarryville, PA.
