POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 12/1/21 THRU 12/8/21

THEFT: On 12-1-21 police responded to Dollar General, 1805 Columbia Ave, for a theft that just occurred.  A customer placed their cell phone on the counter by the register to pay for a purchase and left the store without the phone.  The next customer, an unknown female, is captured on video surveillance picking up the phone, placing it in her pocket and leaving the store.  Total estimated value of loss $399.99.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 12-1-21 Robert James Mueller (56) of Manheim was cited with Public Drunkenness (S), stemming from an incident 11-28-21 on State Rd in the area of S Colebrook Rd.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 12-1-21 police responded to the 800 block of Imperial Dr for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Ulises Castro-Rojas (32) of Lancaster was found to have a warrant out of West Chester.  Castro-Rojas was taken into custody and turned over to a state constable.

RETAIL THEFT: On 12-2-21 at 1300 hrs, police responded to the Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.  Following investigation, Jovon Watts (29) of Lancaster was taken into custody in the 1500 block of Manor Blvd and charged with Retail Theft (S).  Watts allegedly purchased items in self-check-out, scanning only smaller valued items and neglecting to scan 3 bags of dog food and a frozen lasagna.  Total estimated value of loss $111.24.

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 12-3-21 at 2015 hrs, police responded to the 3200 block of Harrisburg Pk for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Heriberto M Rivera (45) of Landisville was charged with Terroristic Threats-Domestic Violence (M1) and Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2).  Rivera was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 12-3-21 a 12-year-old male student of Columbia was charged with 2 counts of Terroristic Threats (M1), stemming from an incident at Centerville Middle School, 865 Centerville Rd, this same date.

BURGLARY: On 12-5-21 at 0634 hrs, police responded to UPS, 1155 Enterprise Rd, for a burglary.  Sometime between 12-4-21 at 2359 hrs and 12-5-21 at 0634 hrs, actor(s) forced entry through a window in a garage bay door.  Multiple packages were rummaged through and the amount of loss is unknown at this time.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 12-5-21 at 0002 hrs, police responded to the 1600 block of S Colebrook Rd for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Skylar Robert Allen (32) of Minneapolis, MN was charged with 2 counts of Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2).  Allen was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT OF SERVICE: On 12-8-21 police responded to Batteries Plus, 3023 Columbia Ave, for a theft of service that occurred 12-3-21 between 1300-1425 hrs.  A male came to the service counter to pay for an Apple iPhone repair.  His credit card was declined.  He left the store to retrieve funds from his car and never returned to make payment.  Total estimated value of loss $129.99.
