On 1/22/21 at approximately 4:29pm the Columbia Borough Police Department was notified that a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9mm pistol (serial no. LEV0167, barrel length 3.1) was missing from a vehicle in the 300 block of South 3rd Street, Columbia.  The victim said that he last saw the firearm in his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado sometime during the evening of 1/21/21 but when he returned to his vehicle on 1/22/21 the gun and a fully loaded magazine containing eight full metal jacket rounds were missing.  The gun is valued at $400.00.  Anyone with information regarding this theft is encouraged to contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or by texting LANCS to 847411.
