DeLand Police Officers Corey Mullen, Latisha Pasley, Rod Hancock and Chief Jason Umberger went back to school Thursday to read the opening chapters of “Heroes” to students. “Heroes” is this year’s selection for the “One Book, One School” program at Deland Middle School.
