Residents along Locust Street between the 200 and 600 blocks, as well as those on the first block of north and south 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th streets, should be aware of "No Parking" signs in their area. Additionally, signs have been placed in the parade staging areas on Manor Street between 10th and 13th streets, as well as on the 600 blocks of south 10th, 11th, and 12th streets.
At 4:00 PM, a rope line will be set up on Locust Street, and any vehicles obstructing the setup will be towed. Towing will be enforced on side streets and in the parade staging area by 4:30 PM. The highway department will also pre-position barriers at intersections, with road closures taking effect at 5:30 PM.
For spectators watching the parade along Locust Street, please refrain from leaning or pushing on the rope line, which is in place to ensure safety and prevent interference with moving vehicles. Please cross the street at designated intersections and avoid going under the rope line.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM at the intersection of 10th Street and Manor Street, featuring approximately 100 participating units, an increase from last year's event.
