The Ephrata Police Department recently arrested Patricia Shorn, 69, of Ephrata, for Open Lewdness. On Friday, October 2, 2026, at 1 a.m., an Ephrata Police Officer on bike patrol observed Patricia Schorn relieving herself in the 1st Blk. E. Main Street, Ephrata Borough. Schorn admitted to the officer that she was relieving herself because there were no bathrooms available. The location was not concealed from the public and could be observed by a passerby. On 10/05/2026, Schorn was picked up on an arrest warrant from this case and arraigned by MDJ Landis. Schorn was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

Schorn is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
