Retail theft was reported at a business in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive where two male juveniles shoplifted bicycle accessories and left the area.

Saturday, September 23, 2023;

0027:
Disturbance involving a fight occurring between several subjects was reported in the first block of E. Walnut Street.

0751:
James Benesch, age 38 of Hanover, was arrested and charged for strangulation, simple assault, terroristic threats, and harassment following a domestic altercation reported in the 100 block of Pleasant Street.  He was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Department for further disposition.

1008:
Ryan Lamb, age 24 of Hanover, was cited for harassment following a domestic altercation reported in the 400 block of High Street.

1032:
Criminal trespass was reported at a business in the 100 block of Carlisle Street where a male subject was loitering on private property earlier in the morning.

A Charge for retail theft is pending against a 56 year old Hanover man following an incident of shoplifting reported at a business in the 100 block of Carlisle Street.

1157:
Domestic argument occurring between a man and woman was reported in the 300 block of York Street.

1632:
Disturbance involving a fight occurring between several subjects was reported in the 400 block of York Street.

1708:
No injuries were reported and towing was required following an accident that occurred at Broadway and Grant Drive.  A 2016 Nissan Sentra operated by Norma Morales, of Hanover, struck a 2002 Ford Explorer operated by Victoria Kline, of Hanover, which then struck a 2016 Dodge Dart operated by Ashley Albaugh, of Hanover.

1813:
No injuries were reported and towing was not required following an accident that occurred in the 900 block of Carlisle Street.  A 2012 GMC Terrain operated by Edwardo Melchor, of New Oxford, struck a 2021 Toyota 4Runner operated by Amanda Buddemeyer, of Hanover.

2154:
A charge for driving under the influence is pending against a 46 year old Hanover woman following a traffic stop in the 200 block of Frederick Street.  

2208:
Retail theft was reported at a business in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive where a female subject shoplifted jewelry and fled the area when confronted by a store employee.

2316:
Harassment by communications involving an unwanted phone call was reported in the100 block of Kuhn Drive.

Sunday, September 24, 2023;

0132:
Disturbance involving a verbal argument occurring between several subjects was reported in the 300 block of Poplar Street.

1229:
No injuries were reported and towing was required following an accident that occurred at W. Middle Street and S. Forney Avenue.  A 2004 Honda Accord operated by Lance Sweitzer, of York, struck a 2019 Jeep Cherokee operated by Brent Morea, of Hanover.

1310:
Justin Dorsey, age 33 of Hanover, was arrested for outstanding warrants following a traffic stop at Wilson Avenue and Penn Street.  He was turned over to a constable for further disposition.

1559:
No injuries were reported and towing was not required following an accident that occurred in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive.  A 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer operate by Jamie Lamatitlan-Zapoteco, of Gardners, PA, struck a 2020 Jeep Cherokee operated by Richard Jackson, of York Springs.
