Our very own Sgt. Jeremy Ledford will again serve as the North Charleston Police Department's Men Wear Pink (MWP) 2025 ambassador for the fourth consecutive year. As an ambassador, Sgt. Ledford has witnessed firsthand the impact of our efforts, with funds raised going directly towards grants that support local researchers in their quest to overcome drug resistance in common therapies.
Cancer affects everyone, regardless of background or socioeconomic status. Personally, Sgt. Ledford has experienced the devastating effects of cancer within his own family, with loved ones battling breast, thyroid, and lung cancer. As a survivor of Hodgkin Lymphoma himself, Sgt. Ledford understands the pain and hardship that cancer brings, not only to the individual but also to their families. That's why he is committed to fighting breast cancer with all his might.
NCPD believes it is our obligation to make a difference within our community. With your partnership, we can raise money and awareness to support all aspects of cancer treatment, research, and family support. Let's work together to make this year even more successful than the last and show our support for those affected by breast cancer!
