On 7/25/21, while conducting a roving DUI detail, York City Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 200 blk. of W. Market St. for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, drugs and paraphernalia were located within immediate reach of the driver. Officers secured the vehicle and obtained a search warrant which yielded additional drugs, paraphernalia, and a handgun. The operator of the vehicle was charged with felony firearms and drug offenses.
