Violence and Illegal guns are a blight to our community and the York City Police Department, and its numerous Law Enforcement Partners are taking it seriously.  Individuals who illegally possess guns are being indicted federally to answer to their charges.  Attached is the Federal Indictment of Richard Tyler, 34, of York who was indicted on October 30, 2019, by a federal grand jury on drug trafficking and firearms charges.  Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
