On January 3rd, 2020 at approximately 2:22 PM the York City Police Department responded to 205 W. Market St for the report of a stabbing.  Once on scene they spoke with an adult male victim who informed them of the following.  The victim was at this location with another known adult male.  The two men began arguing and at some point the suspect cut the victim in the arm with a knife.  The suspect then fled the scene. 

The victim was transported to York Hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. 

Through further investigation the York City Police Department discovered the suspect shortly after this incident occurred.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Central Booking to be processed and arraigned.  

A follow up to this release will be put out 11:00 AM on Monday January 6th, 2020.
