On January 18th, 2020 at approximately 3:50 PM York City Police responded to the 700 block of Chestnut St for the report of a shots fired.  Once there they discovered a 30-year-old York man who had been shot one time in the stomach.  The victim was transported to York Hospital for treatment where he is listed in stable condition.  A motive for this incident is presently unknown or whether the victim was targeted.  Police continue to investigate.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the York City Police Department in any of the following ways.
