On October 16^th, 2019 at approximately 9:59 PM the York City Police Department responded to the 600 block of W. King Street for a report of a shots fired.  While responding to this call, information was obtained that a victim from a shooting was heading to York Hospital.  This victim was Kairein Oliver, 35 of West York.  Oliver told Police that while he was in the area of Belvidere and King, he was approached by several individuals who fired several shots at him.  One of these shots struck Oliver in the right arm.  Oliver was treated at York Hospital and then left on his own.  It is believed Oliver was targeted in this incident.  Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact the York City Police Department in any of the following ways.
