***UPDATE*** Vehicle and driver were located

The York City Police Department is requesting assistance with a hit and run investigation. On 05/09/2024 at approx. 1225 hours, a pedestrian was struck by the attached vehicle, in the area of George St. at Market St. The striking vehicle appears to be a royal blue Honda Civic with unknown Pennsylvania registration. The vehicle was last seen leaving the scene of the accident traveling East on Market St. and then turning onto N. George St.
