On Feb. 8, 2020 at 9:28 p.m., West York Police were dispatched to the first block of Dewey Street for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a gunfight and ultimately a victim that had fled the scene was located.
In our investigation, we were able to determine that the defendant, accompanied by Emahn Weedon, were approached by two other individuals. One of those individuals drew a gun and attempted to shoot the defendant several times (once striking him in the foot). The defendant fled, and then drew a firearm and began shooting towards the other individuals as they ran the other way.
The defendant is prohibited from possessing firearms due to his prior felony criminal history.
On 2/12/2020, WYBPD, assisted by the City Police, US BATF, & US Marshall's Office executed a search warrant at the defendants residence, locating additional firearms, ammunition, drugs, and evidence of a drug vending operation (for which he has been additionally charged).
