On May 6, 2026, at approximately 12:45 a.m., the Springettsbury Township Police Department was dispatched to 2575 Cambridge Road for a report of a male at the residence experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Officers arrived on scene at approximately 12:50 a.m. and located the individual inside the residence with an apparent stab wound. Officers immediately administered life saving measures with negative results. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The York County Coroner's Office took possession of the male's body and transported it to the York County Coroner's Office. Identification of the male is being withheld pending notification of the immediate family.
