On February 22, 2026, at approximately 4:43 p.m., the Springettsbury Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of North Northern Way and Concord Road for a report of a deceased male located in a creek north of the roadway. Officers arrived on scene at approximately 4:46 p.m. and located the individual submerged in the creek. The body was recovered and transported to the York County Coroner’s Office.

The male was positively identified as Aquil Bailey, 30, of York, Pennsylvania.
