On September 26^th, 2026, at approximately 1017 hours, officers responded to an assault at Tobacco King, 3609 E Market St.  Preliminary investigation revealed two males, who were known to each other, got into a verbal altercation.  This resulted in one of the males, Chris Miller of York, PA, producing a knife and stabbing the victim in the torso area.  The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Miller was taken into custody on scene and charged for this incident with the lead charge being aggravated assault. If anyone has information relating to this case, please contact Det Thomas at 717-757-3525 or Tessa.Thomas@springettsbury.com.
