Today, Thursday, January 8, 2026, Officer Charles Clark completed his last tour of duty following 26 years of dedicated service to the Borough of Hanover and its citizens. Charles started his career with the department on September 10, 1999. He served as a Field Training Officer; and, as CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) Officer, was instrumental in furthering the department’s commitment to the York County Crisis Intervention Team where he traveled to Memphis, TN to explore the “Memphis Model” with other CIT members. Officer Clark’s compassion on the job and his mentorship to new officers will be greatly missed. The members of the police department wish you a happy retirement and success in your future endeavors.
