In July, Officer Jamal Jimenez presented checks to both the American Cancer Society and the Ulman Foundation as a result of funds raised by officers during the Shamrock Beard Drive. The beard drive began in March of 2026 as the department members rallied in support of Officer Jimenez during his personal journey. The drive raised funds to support two cancer related charities selected by Officer Jimenez. Participating officers were permitted to grow beards during this time, a deviation from the department's standard grooming policy.

Our officers were financially supported by family, friends, local businesses, fellow police officers and other first responders from surrounding agencies.

$5,400.00 in donations were raised and donated equally to both the American Cancer Society and the Ulman Foundation! We are very proud of Officer Jimenez and his fellow officers!
