Charges for possession of a controlled substance are pending against a 45 year old woman and a 58 year old man, both of no fixed address, following an incident reported at Doss Alley and Frederick Street.

0945:
No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash in the 500 block of Carlisle Street. A 2025 Freightliner operated by Daulton Spielman, of Hanover, struck a 2025 Subaru operated by Thomas Miller, of Abbottstown.

Criminal mischief involving an unsecure vehicle being entered and tampered with overnight reported in the 800 block of Randolph Street.

1322:
Retail theft reported at a business in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive. Investigation continues.

No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash at Broadway and Moulstown Road. A 2019 Jeep Wrangler operated by Thomas Greenholt, of McSherrystown, struck a 2020 Honda Fit operated by Katherine Fortino, of New Oxford.

Disturbance involving a disorderly female reported in the 200 block of Third Street.

No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash at Broadway and Moulstown Road. A 2026 Mazda CX50 operated by Michael Duncombe, of Ormond Beach, FL, struck a 2023 Nissan Rogue operated by Candice Jones, of Hanover, and a 2017 Ford Explorer operated by Julie Eberhart, of Spring Grove.

Suspicious person knocking on a residential door reported in the 500 block of Carlisle Street was gone before police arrived.

Friday August 21, 2026;

0441:
No injuries were reported and towing was not required following a crash at High Street and Pine Street. A 2005 BMW 325i operated by Irving Castillo, of Hanover, struck a 2019 Honda CRV operated by Lisa Snyder, of Hanover, which then struck a 2013 Ford Explorer operated by Bradley Bosley, of New Oxford.

0452:
Irving Castillo, age 18 of Hanover, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and related offenses following an incident in the first block of Sprenkle Avenue. He was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Office for further disposition.
