Middle Street to Terrace Avenue, and Terrace Avenue from Baer Avenue to Fulton Street, from approximately 10:00 A.M. until the parade. Please plan your travels accordingly.

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. Due to the festivities, Broadway will be closed from York Street-Railroad Street to Baltimore Street-Carlisle Street from the parade through approximately 8:30 P.M. Both eastern quadrants of the Square, and the south-west quadrant, will be closed for the day, until the conclusion of the tree lighting and festivities at approximately 8:30 P.M.

Roadways through the square, other than Broadway, will remain open to vehicular traffic during the event.  Motorists should expect increased pedestrian traffic on the Square.  Pedestrians are asked to remain within the closed off areas for the event and on the sidewalks, using only the marked crosswalks to cross the streets.  Fire Police will be on hand to assist.
