On July 19, 2026, at 12:53 AM, the Carroll Township Police Department was dispatched to the first block of Mountain Road Lewisberry, PA 17339 in Monaghan Township for a reported shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased male, identified as Wyatt Elicker, 25 years old of Dillsburg. The person responsible for firing the weapon has been identified by the Carroll Township Police Department.

The shooting is being investigated by the Carroll Township Police Department with assistance from the York County District Attorney’s Office. This was an isolated incident, and the public is not in danger. The facts and circumstances are being thoroughly investigated and reviewed.
