On 04-26-22 at 7:43 PM, the New Kensington Police responded to the 1300 Block of Leishman Ave, New Kensington for shots fired.  The Westmoreland County Detectives and forensics team were requested to respond and assist with the investigation. 

Investigators learned that a shooting victim, Garrick Marshall, was transported to Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights with multiple gunshot wounds and was eventually transferred by Life Flight to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.  The victim is in stable condition at this time.
