Greensburg, PA -- Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli released the following statement regarding the serious police incident and loss of life on Route 22 earlier today: 

"Earlier today, there was an officer-involved shooting in Westmoreland County on Route 22 in Derry Township and ultimately the actor did not survive. This investigation is ongoing. I will await the full and complete investigative report. After a thorough and unbiased review of the evidence, I will make a legal determination as to the use of force."
