Greensburg, PA -- Ligonier Valley Middle School's Law and Order class paid a visit to the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. 

A small group of students, accompanied by their teacher, listened to a brief presentation about the purpose of the District Attorney's Office. 

First Assistant Chuck Washburn talked about the basic functions of the office, prosecuting crimes and preparing for trials. 

Chief County Detective Ron Zona gave students an opportunity to try on police gear and taught them about the importance of investigations performed by county detectives.
