Greensburg, PA -- The Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office participated in the county's annual Child Government Day on May 3, 2024. 

Forensic Detectives John Swartz and Steve Crawford taught the kids about fingerprint impressions and demonstrated how to lift fingerprints off of aluminum cans with magnetic powder. 

All of the children were able to take home their fingerprints that were stamped on a card. 

Approximately 60 kids participated in this year's Child Government Day and learned about the functions and operations of county government.
