Belle Vernon, PA -- Belle Vernon Area High School hosted its annual College and Career Fair on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026. 

Representatives from area colleges, universities, trade and technical schools, military recruiters, community organizations and government entities were on hand to educate and showcase their industry. 

Westmoreland County Detectives Stephen Crawford and Jenna Derco were on hand to discuss opportunities in law enforcement and forensic science. 

Forensic Detective Crawford gave the interested students a chance to dust for fingerprints like they would potentially do at a crime scene.
