Murrysville, PA -- Two men are in jail after burglarizing a Murrysville residence and attempting to break into two others.
Murrysville Police charged Sebastian Minayo-Montano 24, of Chicago, and Kevin Piza-Alzate, 24, of Reading, with burglary and criminal conspiracy.
Investigators said one residence was entered while the homeowner was out on a walk. The alarm company notified the homeowner of an activation, and when they returned home, they came in contact with an unknown male inside of their Murrysville residence.
The male then fled out of a window that he gained access to, according to Murrysville Police.
The second residence was not entered, but the homeowner found the actors in the driveway when they arrived home.
A third residence in Penn Township was targeted by the same two men, but the attempted burglary was foiled by the homeowner.
Penn Township Police recovered a cigarette butt and distinct shoe prints near the residence on Raymaley Road in Harrison City.
Several doors were damaged after the alleged actors attempted to access several storm doors to gain entry into the home, resulting in approximately $1,000 in repair costs.
Westmoreland County Forensic Services Division was called to process the scene and located a fingerprint on a door handle that matched the fingerprint of one of the men later identified as Minayo-Montano.
Officers obtained a vehicle description with the assistance of surveillance video from the residences. Neighbors also provided clothing descriptions that matched the actors that were later identified and subsequently charged.
The vehicle was quickly located by Monroeville Police Department with the help of surrounding License Plate Readers.
Minayo-Montano and Piza-Alzate were taken into custody.
Neither Minayo-Montano nor Piza-Alzate are legal U.S. Citizens and were remanded to the Westmoreland County Prison after failing to post $100,000 bail.
