Murrysville, PA -- Two men are in jail after burglarizing a Murrysville residence and attempting to break into two others.
Murrysville Police charged Sebastian Montano 24, of Chicago, and Kevin Piza-Alzate, 24, of Reading, with burglary and criminal conspiracy.
Investigators said one residence was entered while the homeowner was out on a walk. The alarm company notified the homeowner of an activation, and when they returned home, they came in contact with an unknown male inside of their Murrysville residence.
The male then fled out of a window that he gained access to, according to Murrysville Police.
The second residence was not entered, but the homeowner found the actors in the driveway when they arrived home.
A third residence in Penn Township was targeted by the same two men, but the attempted burglary was foiled by the homeowner.
Officers obtained a vehicle description with the assistance of surveillance video from the residences. Neighbors also provided clothing descriptions that matched the actors that were later identified and subsequently charged.
The vehicle was quickly located by Monroeville Police Department with the help of surrounding License Plate Readers.
Montano and Piza-Alzate were taken into custody.
Neither Montano nor Piza-Alzate are legal U.S. Citizens and were remanded to the Westmoreland County Prison after failing to post $100,000 bail.
