New Kensington, PA -- Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli confirms a charge of felony child endangerment against a New Kensington woman was held for court Thursday.
Detectives with New Kensington Police Department charged Caroline Cramer in February after medical personnel discovered her one-year-old child had traces of cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills in its system in January. Investigators said doctors also reported bruising on Cramer's 2-year-old child.
Police launched the investigation after a ChildLine report was made.
A preliminary hearing was held on Thursday where a judge held the child endangerment charge for court.
Cramer allegedly tested positive for cocaine and marijuana in January.
She remains in the custody of the Westmoreland County Prison on $10,000 bond.
