Arnold, PA -- Arnold Police Department filed two felony counts of endangering the welfare of children against a man and a woman after two children who were in their care tested positive for drugs.
Paige Giles, 31, and Patrick Milliren, 29, were arraigned and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
Arnold Police were alerted to the incident following a ChildLine referral.
The report claimed that Giles and Milliren were doing drugs at their former residence on Alcoa Drive in Arnold while two children were living with them at the residence.
Officers said the report showed that Giles and Milliren tested positive for cocaine on multiple dates in December of 2024 and that the children also tested positive for cocaine in December and January.
The drug tests were conducted as a result of a police incident and Children and Youth Services visit in early December of 2024.
The children, ages 5 and 2, also tested positive for THC as a result of Giles and Milliren smoking marijuana throughout the house, according to police.
Giles and Milliren allegedly told officers they believe the children were exposed to the drugs due to the residue from the usage throughout the house.
Milliren told officers he believed they did cocaine at least 100 times over the course of several years while the children were present inside the home.
