Irwin, PA -- An Irwin man was arrested after police, SWAT served a search warrant on his residence and located methamphetamine and Psilocybin mushrooms, along with a grow operation. 

On July 10, 2026, Irwin Police and Westmoreland County SWAT executed a search warrant on Zadyn Smith's residence on Main Street in Irwin. 

During the search police located a cooler that contained a Psilocybin mushroom grow operation, vials of Psilocybin mushroom spores, crystal methamphetamine and pipes, marijuana, crack pipes, THC cartridges, pills, and drug paraphernalia. 

Smith, 18, is facing criminal charges of drug possession and possession with the intent to deliver. 

Smithi's 16-year-old live-in girlfriend also resides in the apartment and had direct access to the narcotics resulting in Smith being charged with corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children. 

Smith was remanded to the Westmoreland County Prison on $500,000 bail.
