Latrobe, PA – Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli announces criminal charges have been filed against the man accused of fatally stabbing a Latrobe woman over the weekend.
Glenn Whittier, 54, is facing criminal homicide and tampering with evidence charges in the death of Pamela Puskar.
Puskar, 59, was discovered deceased inside of her apartment on Jefferson Street in the city of Latrobe on Sunday morning.
Investigators believe Puskar was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Surveillance video shows Whittier leaving the Loyalhanna Apartments at approximately 7 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Over the last few days, Westmoreland County Detectives and Latrobe Police have collected evidence and pursued information relative to the investigation culminating in Whittier’s arrest.
An autopsy was performed on Puskar on Monday by the Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office.
Forensic pathologist Dr. Jennifer Hammers determined Puskar had multiple stab wounds and ruled her death a homicide.
Whittier was arraigned Wednesday and denied bail.
