On May 8th & May 9th, 2026, Deputies from the Pike County Sheriff's Office along with PA State Police and other law enforcement agencies participated in Operation Nighthawk. Operation Nighthawk is a DUI enforcement operation across multiple counties with the goal of enforcing laws and looking for impaired drivers. Impaired drivers continue to kill and injure thousands of victims in the Commonwealth of 

Pennsylvania each year.  Proactive efforts in Driving Under the Influence (DUI) enforcement is a strong deterrent against this crime and saves a countless number of lives and millions of dollars in property damage each year.   

We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this operation to further protect and serve the citizens of Pike County.
