The Pike County Sheriff's Office will be accepting applications for a full-time Armed Security Officer position to be filled in early 2025. The main responsibility of this position will be to provide security by screening people entering county buildings. Job Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited high school
- Good physical condition
- Good moral character with the ability to pass a background investigation.
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
- Must be able to pass a drug screen test
- Current and valid PA Act 235 certification
- PCSO will pay for recertification for current security officers
