The Pike County Sheriff's Office will be accepting applications for a full-time Armed Security Officer position to be filled in early 2025. The main responsibility of this position will be to provide security by screening people entering county buildings. Job Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen
• Twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited high school
• Good physical condition
• Good moral character with the ability to pass a background investigation.
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
• Must be able to pass a drug screen test
• Current and valid PA Act 235 certification
• PCSO will pay for recertification for current security officers
