Yesterday afternoon, members of Boy Scouts of America Troop 1071 hosted a flag-raising ceremony outside the Pike County Courthouse as part of their "Lite to Unite" initiative and America 250 celebration.

Members of the Sheriffs Office were proud to attend alongside Sheriff Vennie, Commissioner Osterberg, PA State Rep. Jeff Olsommer, and Senator Lisa Baker.

We commend Troop 1071 for their dedication to community service and patriotism, and we are grateful of the opportunity to support and recognize the next generation of leaders.
