Last week Sheriff Brian Vennie and retired Sheriff Kerry Welsh proudly attended the Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association 2026 Winter Training Conference.

This conference brought together representatives from throughout the Commonwealth for valuable training sessions, informative presentations and meaningful collaboration. Opportunities like this strengthen our partnerships and ensure we continue providing the highest level of service to Pike County.

We would like to once again congratulate Sheriff Welsh on his well- deserved retirement, along with all the Sheriffs who retired this past year. Your dedication and years of service to your communities will not be forgotten.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Wayne County Sheriff Chris Rolser and newly elected Susquehanna County Sheriff John Oliver for their continued support and partnership. Working together makes us all stronger.
