Shop with a Cop Event Brings Joy to Local Students

Recently, officers from the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department, Milford Police Department, Delaware Valley School Police, and the Pike County Sheriff's Department came together to participate in the annual Shop with a Cop event.

This heartwarming initiative brought together 40 students from the Delaware Valley School District, who were each given $50 to shop with an officer. The event aimed to foster positive relationships between law enforcement and the community, while also providing a fun and memorable experience for the students involved.

The Shop with a Cop program is a wonderful example of community policing in action, and we are grateful to have such dedicated officers serving our community. A special thank you to Wal-Mart and its wonderful managers and associates, who ensured everyone had a great time.
