The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department would like to congratulate Lieutenant Donald Roa on his retirement from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office. 

Lt. Roa began his law enforcement career in 1998 with the Matamoras Police Department, where he served for four years as a Police Officer. He went on to serve more than 24 years with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, including 22 years as a Bomb Technician. Throughout his career with the Sheriff’s Office, Lt. Roa also continued serving our local communities as a part-time Assistant Chief with the Shohola Police Department, a part-time Police Officer in Hawley Police Department and, most recently, a part-time Police Officer with the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department.

His commitment to public service, extensive experience, and dedication to protecting our communities have made a lasting impact throughout his career of 28+ years.

While we congratulate Lt. Roa on his well-deserved retirement from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, we are also proud to announce that he will begin the next chapter of his law enforcement career as a full-time Police Officer with the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department!

Lt. Roa brings with him a tremendous amount of knowledge, training, leadership, and experience that will be an invaluable asset to our department and the communities of Matamoras Borough and Westfall Township.
