On July 11, 2026 at approximately 0259 hours an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of Sullivan Trail after observing a vehicle failing to maintain in lane and driving on the shoulder of the roadway. Contact was made with the driver who was identified as Clinton Ball Jr. who had a suspended driver's license. During the stop officers observed the vehicle to have fake inspections stickers and observed signs of impairment during contact with Ball. Field sobriety exercises were conducted and additional signs of impairment were observed. Ball was placed under arrest and transported to the County DUI Center for processing. Blood test results were later received and indicated that Ball had Fentanyl and Metabolites in his system on the night in question. A warrant was obtained for Ball's arrest and on August 23rd Ball was taken into custody at his residence when officers found him hiding inside a crawl space on the second floor of the home.
