**PALMER TOWNSHIP**SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARATION**
The Snow Emergency for Palmer Township will go into effect on Sunday morning 2/22/26 at 7:00 am until Monday 2/23/26 morning 10:00 am. Palmer Township Officials are encouraging residents to start removing their vehicles early from the posted Snow Emergency Routes. Any vehicles still parked on the posted routes during the Snow Emergency time will be ticketed and towed. The registered owner will be responsible for fines, towing fees and the storage fee from the tow company.
Palmer Township Officials are also reminding residents to utilize parking their vehicles in garages, driveways and designated areas if possible. By removing all vehicles from the roadway, this will increase the efficiency for plowing operations to continue safely.
Officials are asking all motorists to remain off the roadways for any unnecessary travels during the anticipated snow storm. If you must travel during this time, please make sure you remove all snow from your vehicle and have an emergency kit with you.
Please remember to check on your neighbors, especially the elderly, during the snow storm.
