**EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES**PALMER TOWNSHIP**

SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES / LATE WEEKEND WEATHER:
The Palmer Township Police Department is reminding all Palmer Township residents of the snow emergency routes. The Snow Emergency will start SUNDAY 2/22/26 at 7:00 am until MONDAY 2/23/26 10:00 am. REMINDER, you are required to move your vehicle(s) from these designated streets. If the vehicle is not moved, it will be ticketed and towed. The registered owner of the vehicle will be responsible to pay the fines, towing cost and storage fees, before the vehicle is released.

Removing vehicles from the roadways will allow for the Palmer Township Public Works to efficiently plow the snow for emergency vehicles to pass safely.

USE OFF STREET PARKING:
We are asking for residents to utilize garages, driveways and designated parking lots if possible.

AVOID CORNER / INTERSECTION PARKING :
Do not park within the intersection or close to the corners. This will allow the plow trucks to turn without any issues and continue plowing.

CLEAR VEHICLES PROMPTLY:
Remember to clear your vehicle of all snow prior to driving. This is a Pennsylvania law. This is an expensive fine.

HELPFUL NEIGHBOR:
Please remember to check on your neighbors, especially the elderly. Help them shovel and clear the snow from their vehicles during this weekend.
