On Wednesday May 20, 2026 at approximately 9:23 AM, the Palmer Township Police responded to the Home Depot (721 S. 25th Street) for a retail theft in progress, with multiple suspects. Upon arrival, the responding Officer was provided information a female driver pulled up to the front of the Home Depot in a gray Honda Civic, got out and quickly went inside the store as the (3) suspects exited the store, got in the Honda Civic with a Pennsylvania registration, leaving the property. The responding Officer was able to confirm the retail theft of (7) air conditioners. Officers were able to locate the Honda Civic in a nearby neighborhood and conducted a traffic stop. All (4) suspects were taken into custody. Further investigation confirmed Nyshiah Rogers was pushing the shopping cart past all points of sales registers / check out lanes without purchasing any of the selected air conditioners. Nyshiah Rogers was transported to the Palmer Police Station for processing. She was later arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Hutnik and released on $20,000.00 unsecured bail.
