On Wednesday May 20, 2026 at approximately 9:23 AM, the Palmer Township Police responded to the Home Depot (721 S. 25th Street) for a retail theft in progress, with multiple suspects. Upon arrival, the responding Officer was provided information a female driver pulled up to the front door of the Home Depot in gray Honda Civic, got out and quickly went inside the store as (3) suspects exited the store, got in the same Honda Civic with a Pennsylvania registration, leaving the property. The responding Officer was able to confirm the retail theft of (7) air conditioners. Officers were able to locate the Honda Civic in a nearby neighborhood and conducted a traffic stop. All (4) suspects were taken into custody. Further investigation confirmed Felix Rios was with (2) other suspects selecting air conditioners and exiting the store without purchasing any of the (7) units selected. Felix Rios was transported to the Palmer Township Police Department for processing. He was later arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Hutnik and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000.00 bail.
