On Sunday, February 4th, 2024, the Palmer Township Police Department conducted a vehicle stop on a suspected stolen license plate. As a result of the vehicle stop, it was learned the vehicle was also stolen from Downingtown, PA.
The driver was identified as Malachi Pearson (19) of Bethlehem, PA. Pearson also had two juveniles inside the vehicle who were later released to their parents. As a result of the vehicle stop and investigation, Pearson was charged with (1) Receiving Stolen Property, (2) Corruption of Minors, and (3) Driving Without a License.
Malachi was arraigned on the charges, and he was free on $25,000 unsecured bail.
