On August 23, 2026 at approximately 1:00 AM, a Palmer Township Police Officer was responding to a non emergency call, when he came upon a parked vehicle on the shoulder area on Nazareth Rd / Crest Blvd. The Officer observed a male pulling on the car door attempting to gain entry, as the vehicle drove away. The Officer observed the male staggering away and falling on to the grass area. The Officer went over to the male to check his welfare and observed him to be intoxicated. The Officer attempted to assist the male who was belligerent and argumentative. Arriving Officers assisted with taking the male into custody who was now spitting on them. During this time the male headbutted and bit the Officer on the arm.

The male was identified as Gavin Tyler Kish who was transported to the palmer Township Police Department for processing. He was later arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Corpora and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000.00 bail.
